Emerging as a successful wine-growing region in the 1820s the Hunter Valley has long known the benefit of rich, fertile soils and warm, humid temperatures.
The Hunter Valley is home to some of the oldest and best-known wine producers in the country. With over 180 years in the business, these producers have a wealth of experience in growing and producing their own unique wine styles.
While steeped in tradition, the Hunter Valley also boasts new and upcoming talent in the wine industry. As well as the more traditional Hunter Valley wineries, there are also numerous innovative young growers, utilising new techniques to develop new styles and flavours.
Our next Hunter Valley tour will include cellar door visits to the following wineries:
Stonehurst Organic Winery in Cedar Creek - just out from Wollombi
Keith Tulloch Winery in Pokolbin
Bimbadgen Estate Winery, Pokolbin
For those that have time on the Monday we will give suggestions of wineries to visit.
Enjoy visiting the Cellar Doors of some of the Hunter Valley's best vineyards.
